Description:

A pre-formed, heat-cured, rubber-based silicone weatherstrip for use in a variety of new or remedial sealing, flashing, and roofing applications. Formulated with heat-cured rubber, US1100 has high strength and tear resistance and minimizes dirt pickup.

PERFORMANCE:

  • Formulation – US1100 is an exceptional choice for use in many repair and restoration applications on Exterior Insulation Finish Systems (EIFS), precast concrete, brick, and other building materials.
  • Movement capability – with +200/-100% movement capability, US1100 can accommodate higher movements in extension than many weatherproofing sealants and has excellent recovery after extension and compression cycling.
  • Low Modulus – soft and flexible US1100 produces reduced stress in working joints, while elastomeric qualities result in excellent recovery from extension and compression cycling.

APPLICATION:

  • Method of application - US1100 is lightweight and simple to apply, it can be cut to appropriate size with scissors and utilized with any GE silicone sealant in application.

AESTHETICS:

  • Finish – bridges uneven joints and gaps, creating a consistent finished look.
